Global Militaries Condemn Israel on Camera, Then Study Its Tactics Behind the Scenes

For years, governments and international institutions have amplified accusations against Israel that go far beyond legitimate criticism. The rhetoric has escalated to the point where some countries are repeating modern blood libels, accusing the IDF of genocide while ignoring the realities of a brutal urban war initiated by Hamas. Yet even as these claims spread through diplomatic halls and street protests, the same governments promoting them have been turning to Israel for military expertise.

In November 2025, Israel hosted a five-day seminar for more than 100 senior military officials from nearly 20 countries. If foreign leaders truly believed the IDF was committing genocide, their generals would not be sitting in Israeli briefing rooms studying its operational doctrine, intelligence systems, and tunnel warfare strategies. Their attendance reveals a truth their public statements conceal.

Public Condemnations, Private Engagement

France, Canada, Germany, Japan, Finland, and others issued repeated denunciations of Israel throughout the Israel Hamas war. Yet each of these governments sent officers to the seminar. Reporting in The Telegraph described foreign delegations observing how the IDF models dense urban terrain through VR, integrates drones with infantry and armor, and applies real-time intelligence to locate and dismantle Hamas tunnel networks embedded inside civilian neighborhoods.

These militaries are not gathering this information for political theater. They are studying Israel because they recognize the precision, discipline, and real-world expertise required to defeat an entrenched terror army in one of the most complex battlespaces on earth.

Record Defense Sales Reflect Global Confidence

By the time the seminar convened in November 2025, Israel had already reached a defense-export record of 14.7 billion dollars in 2024. This marked Israel’s fourth straight year of growth, with Europe purchasing more than half of the major systems. Countries do not invest billions of dollars in advanced military equipment from a force they believe is criminal or illegitimate.

Maj. Gen. Amir Baram, Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Defense, explained that “more nations want to protect their citizens using Israeli defense equipment.” Defense Minister Israel Katz added that “the world sees Israeli strength and seeks to be a partner in it.” Their comments match the global demand. Nations are choosing Israeli systems because they trust Israel’s military judgment and technology.

Germany’s Criticism and Dependence

Germany is a prime example of this gap between public rhetoric and security reality. Berlin criticized Israel repeatedly, yet proceeded with the purchase of Arrow 3, Spike missiles, Heron drones, and substantial ammunition packages. German authorities also relied on Mossad intelligence to stop a Hamas terror network in Berlin. Chancellor Friedrich Merz captured this contradiction when he said, “Israel is doing the dirty work for all of us.” His acknowledgment reflects what European officials know but rarely say openly.

Arab States Worked With Israel Inside a Regional Security Framework

Leaked United States documents later confirmed that during the 2023 through 2025 Gaza war, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Qatar participated in a US-led regional security structure that involved Israel. They shared intelligence, coordinated responses to Iranian threats, and participated in joint training sessions. Public criticism continued for domestic reasons, but security cooperation with Israel continued because it was necessary.

The Real Story

Israel’s critics claim the IDF is an illegitimate force. The conduct of the world’s militaries tells a different story. They study Israeli tactics. They rely on Israeli intelligence. They invest heavily in Israeli defense systems. Some coordinate directly with Israel during wartime while denouncing it in front of their own populations.

If the IDF were guilty of the accusations leveled against it, none of these relationships would exist. The seminar, the joint operations, the intelligence exchanges, and the record defense exports all lead to the same conclusion. When national security is on the line, countries trust Israel.

They do so because the IDF is effective, disciplined, and professional. The loudest political critics may not admit it, but their militaries already know it.
